SysML v2 examples
Load an example into the editable source below. The viewer reads that source when you inspect or build geometry.
Arbitrary geometry uses SV2A adapter attributes. Its unbounded shapes need a clipping extent; the example sets 100 mm.
Engineering mapping
B31 BEAMRectangular cantilever · fixed root · tip force along global Z. Review mapped values before export.
ShapeItems · 3D geometry
Finite standard shapes from typed item/part/feature usages. Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, or use arrow keys. Choose assembly placement or a separated gallery. Transforms use explicit SV2A adapter attributes; mating constraints are not solved.
Abaqus/CAE export creates native geometry where supported and otherwise orphan surface meshes. It saves a .cae model; materials, sections, analysis meshing, loads and constraints still need review.
Abaqus/CAE Python script
Run in Abaqus/CAE using File → Run Script, or: abaqus cae noGUI=sv2a_abaqus.py. Python 3 Abaqus releases required. Creates a unique output directory with model.cae and import_report.json. No solver is run.

Supported geometry and implementation boundaries
24 finite primitives, clipped conics/surfaces, and explicit arbitrary topology. SV2A adapter attributes supply vertex coordinates, one-based face/edge connectivity, and composed translations/rotations. Full OMG grammar, automatic topology/binding interpretation, SpatialFrames semantics, CSG and constraint solving are not implemented. These shapes are display tessellations, not Abaqus solid meshes. The existing B31 exporter remains a separate beam mapping.
Geometry preview
Undeformed mapped beam · side view and cross-section have independent scales. The B31 mesh lies on the centerline; the rectangle shows the assigned section.

Generated input deck
Review and run an Abaqus datacheck before analysis. No solver has run here.
